Spa in New Zealand


There are over 150 hot springs in New Zealand. It has various styles like a big spa facility, natural spa, and Japanese style. General hot springs in this country are leisure plant like a Japanese heated pool. The place was crowded with many families on weekend. Then, there are many undeveloped hot springs in New Zealand. This is also characteristics of New Zealand.

! Be careful !
There are some different points from Japan…
1. The mixed bathing is principle. Please have swimwear on.
2. Please don’t soak your face in warm water because there is risk of your being infected with the amoebic illness.
3. Please have your bag for valuables, and put it at the place where the eye can reach or in the locker.
4. In the case of natural spa you have the risk of suffer an injury, so please bring your sandal.

There are many of the plant where have the more than one spa and water slider. The famous places are Waiwera Thermal Pools, Te Aroha Mineral Pools, Polynesian Spa, Hell’s Gate, and Hanmer Springs Thermal Reserve.
☆Natural spa☆
There is a lot of undeveloped natural spa in New Zealand. They remain by natural shape. There are the trekking rotes in New Zealand. At the rote, you can enjoy hidden spa in the countryside. The famous places are Kaitoke Hot Springs, Hot Water Beach, Kerosene Creek, and Hurunui River Hot Springs.
